About Dr Ward

Dr Danielle Ward is a GP who provides general medical care for patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include women's health, perimenopause and menopause, menstrual concerns, contraception, infertility, fertility, pregnancy care and IUD insertions, including Mirena.

Dr Ward is a member of the Australian Menopause Society and holds the Family Planning NSW Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. She graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2009 with an MBBS and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Originally from Bathurst, NSW, Dr Ward began her medical career in emergency medicine at St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney. She later moved to the South Coast for her RACGP fellowship training.

Dr Ward lives with her husband and four children and enjoys time with her family, including at the beach.

Dr Dani works as an independent solo GP, consulting in Kiama Downs and at Waminda Aboriginal Medical Service. She also provides paid medical-registrar supervision through the RACGP in Sydney and undertakes paid infant-vaccination program work for the Department of Health and the Australian Immunisation Register.
